Leather care

A few tips to help you keep your AuroraLily bag looking fresh and good as new:

• Store your bag out of direct sunlight to avoid the leather drying out, fading or cracking.  Your bag comes with a free dust bag to keep it protected and looking new.  Store your bag in a cool, dry place away from heaters and windows.

• If your strap is detachable, make sure the hook is properly secured before using your bag.  The hook can sometimes be a little stiff.

• Keep your bag away from water. If your bag gets wet, use a dry cloth immediately to absorb the moisture and allow the leather to dry.  Do not use direct heat e.g. a blow dryer to dry the bag.

• Using harsh chemicals, solvents, or cleaning agents on your bag may damage the leather or strip it of its natural oils. Instead use a soft cloth or a leather cleaner specifically designed for leather handbags.

• Moisturise your bag with leather conditioner or cream regularly.  This helps the leather to maintain its softness and to prevent cracking. You can apply a small amount of leather conditioner or cream to a soft cloth and rub it gently into the leather, then wipe off any excess with a clean cloth.

• Handle your bag with care. Avoid overloading to prevent damage to the leather, stitches, seams and strap.
